Challenging Week
Well I am pleased to say that Sebastian seams to be settling into his new school very well. I have never known if to talk so much, everyday he has come home from school and has not stopped talking and telling me what he has done. Wednesday afternoon in the lovely weather he was outside building a rocket!! Today he had his first forest school lesson, next week he starts Mandarine and French, along with his after school clubs. Have not quite worked out who will help him with any Mandarine homework!!
Charlotte has started her year 8, and seems to like all of her new teachers and is currently enjoying her lessons. Long may it last!!
It has also been non stop in the office, we have just signed up a new company to distribute for, hopefully we can give full details in next weeks blog. We are also having a brand new bespoke website built, so keep an eye on www.bestforbabyonline.com, for the new look in about six weeks.
I have also just finished adding our brand new design of Woombie Convertibles, we now have white in all sizes including the 6 months+, and pink stripe and navy blue stripe in Newborn and Big Baby. We now also have the popular Halo Muslin range back in stock.

A New Academic Year Begins
As you can see I am not really into blogging, but I am going to try harder, and have it as my new school year resolution.
Today is the hottest day that we have had for some weeks. How typical is that with all the schools starting back? I cannot believe that we have had 7 weeks summer holidays, and I have not done half of the things that I had planned to do with the children, don't get me wrong we have been busy and have gone on trips, we have also spent time over in Ireland with my children's Uncle, Auntie and two baby cousins, which they adore. We are also have building work done on our house which has meant getting up early throughout the holidays. But that is another summer holiday over.
Sebastian the face of our website, is now 7 years old, and has today started a new school and started Key Stage 2. As you can imagine yesterday and this morning I have been worried as all parents are. Have I made the right decision to move him, he was happy at his old school, so that is not the reason for me moving him, but the new school is nearer, it has more sport, which he loves and it is a growing school.
This morning he got up without any problems and I took him in, met his new teacher, she seems lovely. I am now sitting here wondering what he is doing, I am sure he is fine, I just worry. Charlotte is a very confident child that just goes straight in and does not worry about a thing. On her first day at school I was the Mum standing at the classroom door watching her organising everything and telling me to go away, unlike other parents cuddling their crying children and un clinging them so that they could leave. I felt like a spare part. Sebastian is very quiet and takes everything in, you can practically hear his brain calculating, and accessing everything going on around him.
I do hope he does not come home tonight and say, "yes I like that school but I want to go back to my old one".
Tomorrow Charlotte starts Year 8 at grammar school, we are then back into our usual chaotic morning rush until October, and of course there is also the evening clubs. I do not enjoy these coming terms when it starts to get dark early, the only part that I like the best is getting ready for Christmas, oh and of course Charlotte's birthday in October, when she starts her teenage years.
We also have some new items that are now ready to put onto our website so keep a eye on our site.

Halo Sleep Wearable Blankets Review
Blankets are not recommended for babies due to the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Luckily, there is a safe alternative that keeps babies warm during the cold winter months. The HALO Sleep Sack is one of the best selling sleep sacks in the United States. As more research supported the idea that blankets may contribute to SIDS, and studies showed that babies who wear sleep sacks have a lower risk of SIDS. A HALO Sleep Sack is essentially a wearable blanket made with cotton or fleece.
Pediatricians advise parents to avoid putting blankets in their babies cribs. Although once a child is older the SIDS risk lowers, many parents rather take the safe route and continue to use sleep sacks rather than blankets well into toddlerhood. Another advantage of using a sleep sack is that babies and toddlers move around so much in their sleep that a blanket could easily slip off of them, leaving them cold the rest of the night. With the use of a sleep sack, parents can rest easy knowing that their baby is warm and safe all night.
If you go to the store in search of sleep sacks for your baby, you may notice the vast array of options you may encounter. What distinguishes HALO Sleep Sacks from other sleep sack brands is that HALO Sleep Sacks are made of the best quality materials there are. The zippers are not cheaply made like some other brands, but rather sturdy, secure, and easy to use. Another great quality of HALO Sleep Sacks is that they are sleeveless, allowing parents to decide which pajamas are appropriate to wear under depending on the temperature so that your little one is comfortable enough for a full night’s rest. In regards to safety, the sleeveless aspect of HALO sleep sacks also ensures that your baby will not re-breathe air from fabric on his or her arm which could be a SIDS risk.
HALO Sleep Sacks are more expensive than traditional baby blankets. Some parents don’t like the reverse zipper on the HALO Sleep Sacks, which zips from top to bottom, but I have found that it is easy to get accustomed to. The manufacturer also maintains that the reverse zipper is safer and also more difficult for the baby to unzip. Although I wasn’t sure sleep sacks were worth the money, I have been convinced that HALO Sleep Sacks are a must have item for parents of infants. Who wouldn’t want an item that makes nighttime routines much shorter and efficient? Not only do they keep babies safe and secure at night, but also provide the warmth babies need during those cold winter months. I would recommend the HALO Sleep Sack for it’s safety qualities, relative ease of use, and durability.
